Distinguished guests in attendance included Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti, City Councillors Amanda Yeung and Ritch Lau, York Regional Police Chief Jim MacSween and Deputy Chief Paulo Da Silva, as well as Chinese Consul General in Toronto Deputy Consul General Cheng Hongbo and Consul for Overseas Chinese Affairs Wang Zehua. The event attracted over 200 community members, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
